Melbourne street art

Hosier Lane

We’re back! Nick and I just adored Melbourne… we were thinking about moving down earlier last (!) year but this trip really confirmed it for us. The weather was perfect – it really felt like a Brisbane winter down there, funnily enough.

I took photos of the work on a few laneways… I wish I could contribute to them. Maybe in time ;)

  1. That /war slogan is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!

Glad you had a good trip. I love Melbourne. I’m thinking about moving there myself.

  2. Hey thanks heaps for your comment on my blog – that’s so cool that you saw our building from the train line! I used to go past it and wistfully think I’d love to live there (or something) one day.

Meanwhile, your blog is awesome – just reading backwards over it now. You should totally move to Melbs. Although if the weather put on a nice show for you over xmas, don’t be fooled! We had some deceptively ‘nice’ weather of late. But don’t let that deter you :)

  3. Oh sounds like so much fun! Could you tell me where abouts you found these streets, Fafi is amazing! – but i can never find her work , ekk!

  4. Tiffany not only explored the various jewelry processes of the time,Silver Tiffany but also branched out into new metals, such as platinum, Tiffany Jewelrywhich at the time was considered very hard to manipulate.Tiffany BraceletsIt seems to be the case that unusual colorations appealed to Tiffany, like the opal.Tiffany EarringsHe also preferred gemstones that were either opaque or translucent. Turquoise, jade,Tiffany Necklaces carnelian, lapis, moonstones, and opals were all chosen for their ability to filter light. Emphasis based on color was very prevalent in his works.
